This half-day workshop teaches strategies for ensuring that sentences and paragraphs are clear, cohesive and effective.

Through a set of activities utilizing authentic workplace documents, employees are able to identify how linking concepts, phrases, and words create cohesion and clarity.

By the end of the workshop employees will be able to:

• Identify when linking concepts, phrases and words are not present

• Self-edit to improve cohesion across sentences and paragraphs

• Leverage outlining as a strategy for both developing and revising writing
